Midland Expressway Limited (MEL) today advised its new toll schedule to be in place from 1 January 2009. Under the new schedule, there will be no change to weekend and night time tolls and an increase to car and heavy goods vehicles weekday tolls of 20p and 40p respectively.

Organisers of an annual Drive for Charity on the M6toll road are uring car and motorcycle enthusiasts wanting to display their vehicles on the day to pre-register for a free pass to the event.
Four local charities each received a share of nearly £90,000 from Midland Expressway Limited as a result of their Drive for Charity event which took place on Saturday, May 10.
