Midland Expressway Ltd are proud to support Cottage Farm Rangers FC in Tamworth

All of the children who play in the Club's younger squads will benefit from the funds which will be used to purchase much needed small-sided goals to be used on match days.

This donation forms part of a wider initiative to support local schools and child focused sports clubs.

Kevin Dyer, Club Secretary said: "We are very grateful to Midland Expressway Ltd for their kind support. Running football clubs is an expensive business and in the current economic climate getting sponsorship is even more difficult. Sponsorship money is normally spent on kits so to be able to use this money on much needed equipment is a great benefit to us."

Tom Fanning, CEO of MEL added: "we are very pleased to support Cottage Farm Rangers FC and I am sure the youngsters will greatly benefit from the new equipment."

"The Club is close to the heart of our own Nikki Bates (Accounts Clerk), who's Son has played for the Club for the past three years and is now in the under 13's squad.  MEL are looking at similar opportunities to support the youth of Staffordshire and this is a golden opportunity to make a difference, particularly when a member of our staff is involved."
