10 Tags and £10k for life saving charity

Midland Expressway Limited has generously covered the expense as part of their promise to support the charity for a further three years.

Since starting their support in 2004, M6toll have donated an incredible £180,000.

In addition to this, the business has generously donated 10 toll tags for charity vehicles, allowing free use of the M6toll as the charity fundraises across the regions it protects.

Tom Fanning, CEO of MEL, explains why Midlands Air Ambulance charity is so important to the company. He said; ". It is a sad fact that over 50% of the incidents the air ambulance attend are road traffic accidents and so we believe it is only right that we support the charity as much as we can, after all they watch over our roads and our customers. As a charity MAA, critically needs the support of businesses and I would urge other regional business leaders to assist with sponsorship too."

Stef Langford-Brown, Corporate Fundraising Manager for the Charity said; "We need to raise over £6.5 million every year simply to continue to operate. A substantial part of that figure is raised by the support of local companies and we are ever grateful for the wonderful support from M6 Toll."
