Five Staffordshire students were awarded with £2,000 scholarships at an awards ceremony hosted by Midland Expressway on Wednesday 11th September at MEL's Operation Centre, Weeford.
The event raises considerable funds for the National Memorial Arboretum, part of The Royal British Legion family of charities, which provides a permanent home to the Armed Forces Memorial. Many thousands of motorcyclists from around the country are expected to take part; setting off from seven different starting points and assembling all together at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

2nd July - From 21:00 on the 2nd July to 06:00 on the 3rd July - The south bound carriageway will be closed between T6 and T4. A diversion route will be clearly signed via the A5.

The M6toll continues to have a positive impact on the region, with the excellent transport link it provides, promoting inward investment, and the creation of 1000's of jobs. We have set up the MEL Schools Foundation as a vehicle for our commitment to continue investing responsibly in the wider community within the region in which we operate. The MEL Schools Foundation will look to incorporate the already successful MEL Student Scholarship Scheme, with other ventures to assist students within the local area.
