M6toll launch campaign to encourage women HGV drivers

Midland Expressway Limited, the operators of the M6toll, have today launched a national campaign to encourage more women to join the haulage profession and become HGV drivers. The campaign, titled ‘HerGV’, launched at this year’s Commercial Vehicle show at the NEC, in partnership with the Road Haulage Association (RHA) and Pertemps. Female motoring journalist, TV presenter and Le Mans driver Rebecca Jackson and celebrity trucker Kara Rouse will be representing the initiative as campaign ambassadors.
