Facilities Maintenance Manager

M6 toll have a vacancy for the role of Facilities Maintenance Manager. Reporting directly to the Director of Motorway Operations & Facilities, you will be providing a comprehensive facilities service for the general facilities at each of our work locations on the M6 toll. You will be required to liaise with department managers and external contractors ensuring that operations are continuous and that departmental targets are met. You will be required to undertake regular checks on buildings and equipment. You will also manage the cleaning function of the Company and effect minor repairs and servicing as required. You will be expected to be proactive in your planning to best utilise resources.

The job is essentially based at our Head Office in Weeford; however you will spend considerable time at our toll stations. The M6 toll is a 24/7 operation and you will be expected to work outside office hours as required.

You will be able to work effectively, using your own initiative and remain focused whilst mainly working alone. Previous supervisory experience would be useful, along with a H&S qualification.

Must have own transport due to location and a full driving licence is essential. The role will require criminal records check clearance.  You will be required to adhere to the Company dress code and Alcohol & Drugs policy.

Departmental Administrator
Motorway Operations department

You will be an experienced Administrator with good Microsoft Office skills, to provide efficient, accurate administrative and clerical assistance to the Motorway Operations department. You will ideally have experience of maintaining records in an operational or maintenance based environment.

You will be responsible for entering data into the company’s maintenance database, producing meeting minutes, maintaining staff training and H&S records, as well as the production of key performance indicators.

We are looking for an individual to join our small, multi-disciplined, reactive team, operating and maintaining the M6 toll road to the high standards our customers deserve.

Suitable candidates will be able to work effectively under pressure, using your own initiative and remain focused whilst working alone or as part of a team.

You should have a full driving licence and your own transport.

The role requires Criminal Records Check clearance.
