How do I use it?

You can join the M6 Toll at various junctions along the road; you just either pay on exit, or pay at one of the mainline Toll Plazas, which stretch across the whole carriageway at two points along the 27 mile route. They are at Great Wyrley (northbound) and Weeford Park (southbound). View our interactive map.

The toll system classifies vehicles into different classes depending on the size of the vehicle. Prices vary between classes and alter according to the time of day and the toll station used. Payment can be made in an attended lane, using credit / debit cards or fuel cards or in cash or at an automatic booth, using credit / debit cards or fuel cards or coins only (no change given).

Information on vehicle classes.

Drivers can also pay in advance of their journey using the M6 Toll's electronic Tag system. The Tag sits in the windscreen and allows drivers to just cruise through the toll lane without having to stop. Find out more about Tags.
