Customer Support Representatives

As part of our new Customer service strategy, we have 3 opportunities available in our Customer support team

2 X 21.25 hour contracts (Morning pattern of 08:30am-12:45pm) and (Afternoon pattern working 12:45pm-17:00pm) Monday to Friday

1 X 30 hour contract (working 7.5 hours per day, 4 days per week)

Salary: £20,101.91 per annum pro rata

We’re seeking enthusiastic and highly organised individuals to deliver excellent Customer Service in line with the Company values, being the first point of support via all forms of customer contact.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries and complaints, using database and systems, completing all tasks in an accurate and efficient manner. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer accounts by forming and maintaining relationships between customers externally as well as internally. You will regularly contact customers to help maintain customer relationships.

You will support in the recovery of unpaid tolls created under payment notices and violations and ensure that accurate accounting records are produced and maintained.

You will be required to be flexible to provide additional shift cover as and when necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Essential skills:

  • Excellent proven Customer Service skills.(Problem Solving, Listening, Phone Skills, Resolving Conflict)
  • Numerate with good IT skills in the use of Word, Excel and Database input.
  • Strong analytical skills with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner when dealing with customers both internally & externally.
  • Have an accurate and methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Work well as part of a team, however be able to self-motivate with the ability to multi-task and manage own work load.
  • A flexible approach and a willingness to learn, especially where processes and systems could change
  • Ability to continuously improve existing systems and processes to enhance business efficiency and accuracy within the department.

Motorway Operations Project Manager

Fixed term for 1 year

Salary: circa £35,000 per annum

We’re seeking someone enthusiastic and highly organised to lead and manage a range of different projects to enable the business to enhance operations, increase value and efficiency from the M6toll.

You will support the Operations Director to oversee the activities conducted by the Motorway Operations Department, particularly strategic planning and managing complex relationships with multiple stakeholders. You will play an integral role in shaping the way projects are scoped and delivered across the organisation.

You will need to be qualified to Graduate level or an associated level of work experience (an Engineering or equivalent discipline would be advantageous). Proven project management experience would be beneficial with a good understanding of financial management. Strong capability across Microsoft office products, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. You would be able to work autonomously to manage your own time to deliver all of your projects efficiently with excellent time management skills. Proven ability to analyse and interpret data and information from a variety of sources. You would be able to work proactively and effectively with a broad range of people, both internal and external. You should have experience of developing and refining processes and process improvement. Proven project management experience would be beneficial for this role. To be reliable and flexible, with a strong work ethic and experience of working with consultants and statutory bodies would be desirable.
