We are looking to recruit a permanent reliable Systems Technician into our Systems team, with experience of electro mechanical and electronic repairs, who can work as part of a team as well as working alone; to maintain, repair and develop a diverse range of systems used for the daily operation of the M6 toll road.

The Systems Technician will maintain the live lane working elements of the tolling function including barriers, coin sorters and card readers, complex wiring and general scheduled maintenance of each lane.

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate hands on maintenance and fault finding experience of electrical / automation systems. Candidates will also be expected to be IT literate and have experience of working with Windows 7 OS.

Full training will be given, however a working knowledge of some of the following would be advantageous.
i) Computer control (RS232 Serial comms, interface equipment)
ii) CCTV (Analogue & IP)
iii) Electrical distribution (MCB, RCD, UPS’s)
iv) Electromechanical devices (barriers, card / coin machines)

The role requires working a five week shift pattern that includes one weekend in five and one week on call in five. The role is a permanent 40 hours per week and will include Bank Holidays.

Essential Skills
You must have a full driving licence as you will be expected to drive Company vehicles when on shift.

You must have previous demonstrable experience of electronic, electro mechanical or mechanical maintenance.

The role requires Criminal Records Check clearance.

The Motorway Operations department is seeking an enthusiastic Motorway Operative to join our experienced team maintaining the M6 toll road to the high standards our customers deserve. You will be responsible for carrying out routine highway maintenance as well as assisting our customers and the emergency services.

Experience experience of motorway or trunk roads maintenance and a knowledge of traffic management is desirable.

The position is based on an average of 42 hours per week; 12 hour day and night shifts (4 on, 4 off), including weekends and Bank Holidays.

You must have a full driving licence and your own transport.  LGV or HGV licence preferable.

We are recruiting into our Facilities department and looking for a permanent reliable Cleaning Operative with experience of working alone as well as within a team. This is a part time position averaging 16 hours per week.

We are looking for a keen individual to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning duties, the goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition and notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

The core element of the role will include: Cleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and disposing of rubbish in an office environment as well as restroom and Kitchens, this will also include Toll booths and Plaza’s when covering Holidays and sickness.

Duties will also include stocking and supplying of designated facility areas.

You will predominately work evening shifts from 17.00-20.15, an additional allowance is payable for any night shifts worked whilst covering sickness and holidays.

The shifts will be Monday-Friday excluding any bank holidays.

Essential Requirements:
• Full UK Driving License and your own transport
• Previous experience in a cleaning role
• Strong attention to detail

Desirable Requirements:
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Experience of working alone as well as within a team is desirable
• Previous unsociable hours working experience would be an advantage
