M6toll Celebrates 21 Years of Service with Big Breeze Price Freeze

M6toll is thrilled to celebrate 21 years of operation, marking its ‘coming of age’ as a leading force in the industry. This milestone highlights sustained growth, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence. 

Since opening in 2003, the M6toll has played a crucial role in reducing congestion and pollution along the M6 corridor, attracting up to 65,000 vehicles from the M6 and regional road network on weekdays. Over 300 million customers have used the road over the past 21 years. 

To commemorate this special occasion and its customer-centric approach, M6toll have announced that they will be launching its BIG breeze Price Freeze in the New Year – freezing prices to their loyal account customers for an initial period of 6 months. 

Earlier this year, M6toll introduced their new ‘breeze’ account, offering a 35% savings on standard non-account prices, alongside a £20 million investment in Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. The ANPR system allows breeze account holders to pass through any lane at the toll plazas without stopping at the barriers. Additionally, improvements to online accounts now enable customers to download statements, add vehicles, and manage their automatic top-up amounts.
