Strengthening Communities Through Sport: New Funding Opportunity from M6toll
As part of M6toll’s ongoing commitment to supporting meaningful causes through their ‘In the Community’ scheme, they are launching their third quarterly theme for 2025, this time with a focus on sport. Local charities, clubs, and community groups delivering sports-based projects are now invited to apply for funding.
Organisations that use sport to bring people together, promote healthy lifestyles, and build stronger communities can apply for funding boosts of up to £1,250. This support is aimed at helping them deliver impactful initiatives, from grassroots coaching and inclusive fitness sessions to youth engagement and community tournaments.
This announcement comes as the UK gears up for a summer of sport, highlighting the power of physical activity to inspire, connect, and uplift communities of all ages and backgrounds.
Jo Seabright, Marketing & Communications and Customer Experience Director at M6toll, shared: “Sport has the power to unite people, build confidence, and create lasting change. Through this quarter’s theme, we’re proud to support local organisations that are using sport to make a real difference in their communities.”
Through the In the Community Scheme, M6toll aims to empower local groups working tirelessly to promote participation, inclusion, and wellbeing through sport. The funding is designed to help them grow their reach, enhance their programmes, and continue delivering positive initiatives.
