From Food Banks to Community Kitchens: M6toll Backs Local Changemakers
As part of our ongoing ‘In the Community’ scheme, we’re shining a spotlight on this quarter’s theme as we continue our support for local organisations making a real difference across the region.
Each quarter of the scheme is shaped by themes chosen by M6toll colleagues, ensuring our support reflects the needs of the communities we serve. For this quarter, funding will focus on projects tackling food poverty and helping individuals and families access nutritious food and essential support.
Local charities, food banks, community groups, and organisations working to address food insecurity are invited to apply for grants of up to £1,250. These funding opportunities are designed to support initiatives that provide emergency food supplies, improve access to affordable and nutritious meals, reduce hunger, and create positive outcomes for people facing financial hardship across our communities.
Jo Brett, External Communications Assistant, shared:
“No one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. Through this quarter’s theme, we’re proud to support organisations working tirelessly to tackle food poverty, provide essential support, and help ensure individuals and families can access the food they need to thrive.”
Through the In the Community scheme, M6toll aims to empower grassroots groups working tirelessly to make a difference. The funding helps organisations extend their reach, strengthen their services, and continue delivering meaningful, lasting impact for people and families affected by food poverty.
