M6toll Supports Grace Cares Care Club with Technology Donation to Strengthen Community Wellbeing
Midland Expressway Limited (MEL), operators of the M6toll is proud to support Grace Cares’ Care Club programme through the donation of a laptop, helping to expand access to vital mental health and wellbeing support for unpaid caregivers in the community.
Care Club is a preventative programme designed to reduce isolation, build resilience, and provide early support for individuals before they reach crisis point — ultimately helping to ease pressure on NHS and social care services. Developed in direct response to feedback from unpaid caregivers, the initiative offers accessible, practical support that improves confidence and emotional wellbeing.
Delivered on a monthly basis, Care Club alternates between in-person and online sessions to ensure flexibility and accessibility. Each session provides a safe, welcoming environment where attendees can connect, share experiences, and access expert-led guidance.
Programme activities include:
- Peer support sessions facilitated by a qualified professional and supported by volunteers
- Specialist advice from partners including Anthony Collins LLP, Ontex, and NHS Occupational Therapists
- Practical guidance on navigating care systems, managing finances, and supporting overall wellbeing
The laptop provided by M6toll will enable Grace Cares to support the continued delivery of their online sessions.
Jo Brett, External Communications Assistant at MEL, said: “We are delighted to support Grace Cares and the important work they are doing through Care Club. Unpaid caregivers play a vital role in our communities, and it is essential older people have access to the support they need. We hope this contribution helps extend the reach of the programme and ensures more individuals can benefit from its services.”
Hannah Montgomery Co-Founder of Grace Cares Commented: “Having reliable kit to run our Care Club sessions makes a real difference to the unpaid caregivers we support. Care Club is all about making sure people have somewhere to turn before things get tough and know they have someone in their corner. As an organisation built on sustainability and circular economy, we love that M6toll chose to donate a pre-loved laptop rather than let it go to waste.”
Grace Cares’ Care Club represents a proactive approach to supporting community wellbeing, providing early intervention that helps prevent isolation and crises before they occur.
M6toll remains committed to supporting initiatives that make a positive and lasting difference in local communities.
