Weather Alert: Storm Goretti – Extreme Cold Conditions Expected
Although this afternoon is forecast to remain mostly dry, temperatures are set to fall sharply to –5°C this evening. At these extreme levels, even previously gritted roads can refreeze, creating a high risk that any remaining snow and surface water will turn to ice.
As temperatures drop, our crews continue to work day and night to grit the network and keep routes as safe as possible.
